Cody Harvey

Co-Artistic Director / Performer

Cody Harvey is very proud to be from Grand Bank Newfoundland. After numerous shows and accolades with the Grand Bank regional Theatre, he is back for his seventh season. Cody is excited to not only be acting this year but taking on a new role as Co-Artistic Director. Since joining the theatre in 2016 , Cody moved away to study “Theatre Arts and Performance” at Centennial College in Toronto. Just prior to returning home, he appeared in “The Addams Family Musical” in Newmarket, Ontario playing the role of Uncle Fester. This season, Cody will be directing two shows, “8 Minutes Left” and “The Known Soldier”. In addition, he will be performing in “NFLD Gold”, “Ballads & Shanties & Tales to Tickle Your Fancy”, and “8 Minutes Left”. Enjoy the show!

Craig Haley

Co-Artistic Director / Performer

Craig Haley is thrilled to be joining the GBRT as both a performer and co-artistic director. Originally from Grand Bank, Craig now lives in Corner Brook. He has been working in professional theatre for over twenty years and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Memorial University of Newfoundland (Grenfell Campus). Most recently, Craig appeared on stage as Jim in Hard Ticket Theatre’s production of Conor McPherson’s “The Weir” at the RAC in Corner Brook. Prior to that, he spent ten years working for Theatre Newfoundland Labrador’s Gros Morne Theatre Festival, where he appeared in twenty-eight productions. Craig has also toured NL, the Maritimes, and the United Kingdom extensively with TNL. In  2019, he toured Northern England portraying the role of Jimmy Miller in the play “Joan & Jimmy”, produced by Blaize Theatre of County Durham, UK. From 2006 to 2012, Craig worked for Wow Productions of Winnipeg, either appearing in or working on nearly twenty productions at the company’s theatres in Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Calgary. During this time, he wrote two plays which were produced by the company; “Good Vibrations: Summer of ‘68” (2009-2010) and “Footsloose: A Musical Parody” (2013).

Alisha Billard

Performer

Alisha Billard is thrilled to be taking part in her second summer season with the Grand Bank Regional Theatre. She has had a strong passion for the arts since elementary school. When not performing, she is a full time mom to her little baby girl, Ava. Alisha is especially looking forward to sharing with the audience her wide range of characters in “The Known Soldier”, “Ballads & Shanties & Tales to Tickle Your Fancy” and “Eight Minutes Left”.

Maggie Coady

Performer

Maggie Coady is a performer from St. John’s. She just graduated with an Advanced College Diploma in Music Theatre Performance from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. Prior to that she spent two years studying in the Performance Acting program at Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus. Most recent credits include Martha Dunnstock in Heathers, Dian Black in Escape from Happiness, Mrs. Finch in Season’s Greetings (St. Clair College), Newfoundland Vinyl, Neddy Norris Night, and Mrs. Batten in The Sinking of the S.S. Ethie, (Gros Morne Theatre Festival). She will be appearing this season as Beth in Turncoat Hill, Sandra in 8 Minutes Left, and as part of the band in NFLD Gold. Maggie is thrilled to be back home in Newfoundland and working at the Grand Bank Theatre this summer. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Nick Hamlyn

Performer / Sound Design (NFLD Gold)

Nick Hamlyn has been working as a singer, musician, actor, and performer on the West Coast of Newfoundland for over fifteen years. He has played hundreds of concerts and festivals with his band, Nick Hamlyn & The Mayhem. In recent years, he has produced and performed a series of tribute shows featuring the music of Bruce Springsteen, John Prine, Ron Hynes, Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Warren Zevon, Hank Williams and many more. Nick has also appeared in the Off-Broadway Players productions of 'RENT' (Roger) and the Queen Musical 'We Will Rock You' (Gallileo Figaro). He has also worked with Camber Arts starring in ‘Reele & Trewe’, 'The Music of Ron Hynes & Stan Rogers', 'Canadiana', and 'A Classic Country Collection'. This is Nick's first time in Grand Bank and he is extremely proud to bring his talents to 'The Known Soldier', 'NFLD Gold', '8 Minutes Left', and 'Ballads and Shanties'.

Lorenzo Castro

Tytelman

Performer

Lorenzo Castro Tytelman was born in Seattle to Argentine parents, and currently lives in St. John’s. He found a love for the theatre during high school, where he was highly involved in the performing arts both in class and in outside productions, and decided to pursue theatre in post-secondary. He is currently entering his second year at Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts, studying acting. This is his second season with GBRT. He is glad to be back after a successful first season last summer.

Gabriel Edwards

Sound & Lighting Design

Gabriel Edwards is excited to be working lights and sound for the Grand Bank Regional Theatre for his fourth season. He has now become a regular at the theatre, having worked as a tech for the past 3 years. Most recently he has worked with St.John's Players on sound for their two latest shows: Comedy Company and Calendar Girls. Gabriel hopes to take his experience in the theatre with him to Dalhousie University to pursue a degree in Stage Design and Technical Theatre in the fall. Outside of the theatre, he enjoys the finer things in life, like red wine and soldering microchips onto old video game consoles.

Joanne Pierce

Costumes & Production Assistant
Joanne Pierce is from Fortune and is overjoyed  to be back with the Grand Bank Regional Theatre for her fifth season. As far back as she can remember, Joanne has always had a love for the theatre. She’s been a strong supporter of GBRT since it began. Joanne is happy to be back this season performing under her new title of “Production Assistant / Costumes”. In her spare time, you can find her down at her trailer in the country soaking up the sun and spending time with her family; especially enjoying time with her grandson, Jaden. Joanne looks forward to sharing her artistry through costumes again this season.

Ethan Scott

Stage Manager
Ethan Scott was born and raised in Grand Bank. He discovered his passion for theatre by participating in the Community Youth Network's short film "Set Them Free". He also took part in the John Burke High Masquerade for two years. This year, Ethan is excited to take on a new role as stage manager. Ethan is committed to ensuring everyone has a good season, and dedicated to making sure you all have a great time!

Caitlin Whalen

Guest Performer

Caitlin has always been an active and well-known person here in Grand Bank. Over the years, she’s been involved in a number of plays with the GBRT and has won awards for acting excellence at high school drama festivals. She’s a very outgoing, bubbly, and eccentric person, which has only increased her love for theatre. When she’s not working, she’s a busy fur mom to her two kitties, Billie and Whiskey, and her puppy, Angel. She’s proud of contributing to her community, being a part of the Grand Bank Regional Theatre, and is looking forward to performing her heart out this summer.

Dawn Noseworthy

Guest Performer

Dawn Noseworthy is from Grand Bank, NL. She has been in the music realm for many years and has a song available on Apple Music and YouTube under Dreamworthy Productions. Drama has always been her passion and she is more than thrilled to be back at the GBRT for her second season. Performing in "8 Minutes Left" and "Seniors in Situations!" 

Dave Noseworthy

Guest Performer

Dave Noseworthy is a renowned musician from Grand Bank. He has played across the island throughout his career and has showcased his talent in Orebro, Sweden and at the world's largest music festival, Summerfest, in Milwaukee, USA. Dave is thrilled to be stepping out of his comfort zone and performing as an actor at GBRT for his first season. He is looking forward to putting a smile on your face, so sit back and enjoy "8 Minutes Left".
