Enjoy the shows!

Caitlin has always been an active and well-known person here in Grand Bank. Throughout the years, she has been involved in a number of plays and has won acting excellence awards. She’s a very outgoing, bubbly and eccentric person which has only made her love for theatre stronger.  When she’s not working, she’s a busy fur mom to her two kitties, Billie and Whiskey, and her puppy, Angel.  She’s proud of contributing to her community, being a part of the Grand Bank Theatre, and is looking forward to performing her heart out this summer.

Alisha is a new mom to her beautiful baby girl, Ava! She is also an award-winning performer who started her career eight years ago when she decided to join her school’s drama club. Alisha has also been in a number of competitive plays during her high school career. She has always had a passion for the Arts and is so excited to be performing this summer at the GBRT for the first time ever! She is looking forward to joining the teams of "The Known Soldier" and "The Honorable Member" to bring together a memorable performance!

Lorenzo was born in Seattle to Argentine parents, and currently lives in St. John’s. He found a love for the theatre during high school, where he was highly involved in the performing arts both in class and in outside productions, and decided to pursue theatre in post-secondary. He is currently studying theatre at Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts. This is his first season with GBRT, and he is eager to participate and perform over the summer.

Dawn is from Grand Bank and works as a student assistant. She has been in the music realm for many years and has a song on Apple Music and YouTube under Dreamworthy productions. Drama has always been her passion and she is more than thrilled to be performing at the Grand Bank regional Theatre this summer in “A Wedding at LeRoy’s Diner.”

Sherry is from Grand Bank and is a primary/elementary teacher. She was involved in drama and developed a passion for singing at a young age and her love for being on the stage carried through high school. As a young adult, Sherry then went on to work for 4 seasons with the GBRT in its earliest days. She has since coached drama at the high school level. Sherry got a taste of being back on the stage with GBRT last year during their season finale and is thrilled to be joining the cast and crew this season to perform in “A Wedding at Leroy’s Diner”!

Gabe is from Grand Bank and a graduate of John Burke High School  where he assisted the Masquerade with tech for two years.  He is a man who has gone by many names – “Sparky” to the crew  and “Gube” to his friends.  This year he is the returning lighting and sound technician.  and can be found squirrelled away in the tech booth pushing buttons and turning knobs as he runs the show. Gabe is happy to be working alongside such a talented cast and crew this summer.

Joanne is blessing the Grand Bank Theatre for the fourth consecutive year.  Her main job is making the actors look good. The theatre has always been a source of joy for Joanne, but the current light in her life is her grandson, Jaden.  When Joanne isn’t putting zippers in costumes or ironing pleats, she can be found tearing up the trails with her grandson in a side-by-side.  She hopes you enjoy the show!
