Cody Harvey
Artistic Director / Performer
Cody Harvey is very proud to have been born and raised in Grand Bank, Newfoundland. After seven successful seasons with the Grand Bank Regional Theatre, he is overjoyed and proud to be the Artistic Director for the 2024 season.

Since joining the theatre in 2016 , Cody moved to Toronto to study “Theatre Arts and Performance” at Centennial College . In 2022, he appeared in “The Addams Family Musical” in Aurora, Ontario, playing the role of Uncle Fester with Marquee Theatrical Productions. This year, Cody created the first ever “Off Season” with GBRT with specialized events for the public. The highlight of the "Off Season" was an Improv Program that was created and directed by Cody to create theatre and performance opportunities for youth on the Burin Peninsula.
This season, Cody will be directing all four shows. In addition, he will be performing in “AM/FM”, “YUKS & YAYS”, and “Bethel Park Falls”. Please enjoy the show!

Nick Hamlyn
Musical Director / Performer
Nick Hamlyn is delighted to be back with the Grand Bank Regional Theatre as Musical Director/Performer this year. He has had a busy off season, playing Will in The Off-Broadway-Players' production of 'Green Day's American Idiot', Jacey Squires in Camber Art's 'The Music Man', and starring as Peter in 'Prelude to a Kiss', OBP's entry in the Annual NL Drama Festival, receiving nominations for Best Actor, Best Production and Best Ensemble.
He also produced and performed a sold out run of 'Fleetwood RAC', a tribute to Fleetwood Mac and played lead guitar for CBRH's run of 'Mamma Mia'.

Maggie Coady
Performer
Maggie Coady is thrilled to be back performing in Grand Bank this summer! Originally from St. John’s, she studied acting at Grenfell before completing an Advanced Diploma in Music Theatre Performance at St. Clair College in Windsor, ON.
Selected credits include Veronica Sawyer in Heathers (Best Kind Productions), Sandra in 8 Minutes Left (Grand Bank Regional Theatre), Martha Dunnstock in Heathers, Dian Black in Escape from Happiness, Maxime in Pélagie (St. Clair College), Mrs. Batten in The Sinking of the S.S. Ethie, and showcased her musical talents in NFLD Gold and Ballads and Shanties (GBRT), and Newfoundland Vinyl and Neddy Norris Night (Gros Morne Theatre Festival).

Masen Hunt
Performer
Masen is so excited to make his professional debut with Grand Bank Regional Theatre. He recently graduated from the Music Theatre Performance program at St. Clair College where he played Ram Sweeney in their production of Heathers. Most recently, he played Ram Sweeney in Best Kind Productions staging of Heathers. When he’s not on stage Masen loves playing board games, but even more than that, he loves buying them, putting them on the shelf and then forgetting they exist.

Angela Blackwood
Performer
Angela Blackwood is from St John's and has been living in Grand Bank, on and off, for the past 14 years. She is happy to be settled back in the community teaching high school English and Fine Arts. She graduated from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in a year that shall not be named. Angela has been involved in theatre for over two decades including performances with Shakespeare by the Sea and MUNDrama, and writing several plays for the fantastic audiences in Grand Bank. In her spare time, she enjoys sleeping, shopping, white wine, and sleeping. This is Angela's seventh season at the Grand Bank Regional Theatre and she's excited to be working with this group of talented people!

Alisha Billard
Alisha Billard is thrilled to be back on the GBRT stage again this summer. She has worked for the Grand Bank Regional Theatre as a performer for the 2022 and 2023 summer seasons. Alisha is very excited to be performing in all 4 shows this summer and is hoping to bring you through a roller coaster of emotions. When Alisha is not performing she is a stay-at-home mom to her 2-year-old daughter Ava.

Rachele Sangster Bennett
Rachele is thrilled to be performing in her first ever season with the Grand Bank Regional Theatre. Rachele just graduated from high school and this season marks her very first professional theatre job. Prior to this season, Rachele was part of the “Acting Through Improv” program at GBRT and performed in the theatre's Christmas production of “Our Family Christmas Tree”, written by Angela Blackwood and Cody Harvey. Rachele has been singing for years and is very excited to share her singing abilities in 2 music shows this year - “AM/FM” and “YUKS & YAYS”. You can also catch her acting as “Elwood” in the dramatic comedy “Bethel Park Falls".

Gabriel Edwards
Sound & Lighting Design
Gabriel is excited to be returning for his fifth consecutive season at the Grand Bank Regional Theatre, once again taking the role of Lighting and Sound Designer and King of the Booth. Gabriel is returning home from his first year at Acadia University, where he studies Theatre Production and works as a Videographer for the Acadia Axemen.

Joanne Pierce
Costumes & Production Assistant
Joanne Pierce was born and raised in Grand Bank and has been a strong supporter of the Grand Bank Regional Theatre since it began. She resides in Fortune in the winter months and at Braggs Path in the summer where she enjoys the outdoors, soaking up the sun and spending time with her family, especially her pride and joy, her grandson, Jaden. In her spare time, Joanne loves to read, listen to music, and create crafts. Joanne is overjoyed to be back with the Grand Bank Regional Theatre for her seventh season as “Costumes/Production Assistant". Joanne looks forward to sharing her artistry through costumes again this season.
